We are so sorry for your loss. As you honor the passage of your loved one, we want to help make the grieving process a bit more comfortable.
Our shiva services include one or both of the following (please see 1 and 2 below):

- We will make any arrangements needed including:
- Communicating with clergy and/or funeral home if need be
- Ordering, purchasing and planning for food and beverage
- Purchasing disposables (plates, plasticware, cups)
- Ordering rentals (coat racks, chairs, tables, valet if needed)
- Many people have additional needs. We will also:
- Help make arrangements for pets
- Order thank-you notes
- Help arrange for meals for mourners
- Non-kosher and kosher food available (as well as Glatt and Chalav Yisrael)
- We will make any arrangements needed including:
Flat fee plus the cost of any of the above items. Please contact us for details.

- Help at the home during the hours of shiva. We will arrive early to:
- accept deliveries and drop-offs before guests arrive
- set-up tables, chairs, food, beverages, disposables
- Tend to religious needs such as covering mirrors, setting up wash stations, etc.)
- Our goal is to seamlessly take care of all needs so you can focus on what’s important. We will:
- Organize and refill food and beverages throughout the shiva
- Clean up (we stay until guests leave)
- Keep track of food/gifts brought in by condolence guests (create and maintain list)
- Help at the home during the hours of shiva. We will arrive early to:
Minimum two staff (more may be needed, TBD), $30 per hour, per staff person.

About me:
As a premier event planner for over 20 years, I have been asked many times to help with difficult life events as well. No one hopes to have to plan these, but I, along with my professional staff, will use my planning skills to help make these sad occasions go as smoothly as possible.
I’m a lifelong member of North Suburban Synagogue Beth El in Highland Park, and I now reside in Northbrook where I serve the NorthShore community as well as the city of Chicago.
